James Devers is an experienced Executive Head Chef with over 22 years in the culinary world. A top graduate from GMIT, he won silver in the Irish Student Chef of the Year 2005 and has worked in prestigious roles at Ice House, Farnham Estate, and Castle Leslie Estate. James is passionate about using fresh, seasonal, and locally sourced Irish ingredients, blending classic and modern techniques to create innovative dishes. At Tulfarris Hotel & Golf Resort, his vision is to make Fairways Restaurant a leading food destination, focusing on sustainability and exceptional dining experiences, while also mentoring the next generation of chefs.

A native of Dublin, Ireland, Kevin found his calling at an early age and he enrolled in the Dublin Institute of Technology studying Culinary Arts. From there he was offered a position at the renowned Restaurant Patrick Guilbaud: Ireland’s only two Michelin-starred restaurant. Under the guidance of head chefs Guillaume Lebrun and Kieran Glennon, Kevin developed a passion for French cooking andan appreciation of the importance of high quality produce. His culinary journey then took him to London, where he took on the position of sous chef at Jason Atherton’s Michelin-starred Pollen Street Social. In search of a new and exciting challenge, Kevin joined Jun Tanaka’s newly opened restaurant, The Ninth, in 2015, as Head Chef. Within the first year they gained a Michelin star. Returned to Dublin in 2019 and worked alongside the Allta team. Kevin opened Library Street in November 2021.
